Head of ICT at Standard Group

The incumbent will be able to develop and implement an effective Group ICT strategy that supports the corporate
strategy, maximizes service delivery and fully exploits technology.

Responsibilities for the Head of ICT Job

• Provides ICT support for innovative business approaches and advises the executive committee on ICT related issues
• Heads and coordinates ICT functions across the Group operations and provides strategic leadership and guidance on ICT matters including enforcing best practices in ICT standards
  Prepares and monitors the approved ICT budget
• Leads and coordinates the Group ICT team in design, development, implementation, operation and support of an integrated ICT infrastructure
• Provides managerial oversight over ICT projects and manages introduction and transition from legacy systems to the state of art enterprise resource planning, the internet, e-commerce and e-business systems environment and other internet related capabilities
• Appraises staff, identifies their strengths and weakness and recommends appropriate training to develop and
  optimize individual talents.

Qualifications for the Head of ICT Job

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Master’s Degree from a recognized university is an added advantage
• At least 8 years’ Experience in a busy ERP environment Extensive knowledge of Sun systems
• Professional certifications
