Finance Manager at Mackenzie Stuart

Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director the role focuses on business partnering with the operational teams in order to achieve corporate goals from a finance perspective. 

The role is based in Nairobi.

Tasks: 

• Responsible for monthly end processes including the production of all financial reports such as P&L statements and group balance sheet.
• Liaising with senior management team to provide commercially focused financial analysis and insight to assist with business strategy.
• Managing the interim and year-end audit process and liaising with auditors
• Lead all financial risk assessment, asset protection and systems management.
• Assisting with ad-hoc reports and projects 
• Handling 3 direct reports

Candidate Profile: 

• Fully qualified finance professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Previous experience in a similar role essential 
• Previous experience of Logistics/ Transportation sector necessary 
• Highly business focused finance professional with an understanding of the impact of finance on business strategy
• In depth understanding of financial regulations and frameworks
• Excellent communication skills
• Big 4 experience a plus
