Reporting to the Senior Manager Custody Services, this role exists to retain existing and continuously source for new business to support growth of custody services portfolio, diversification of products and services for existing and new clients and to carry out market research for targeted sales and services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Acquisition of new business through sourcing, expand wallet size and retain existing client relationships so as to increase market share and profitability.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, retention and identification of repeat and new business opportunities.
• Responsible for management & diversification of portfolio for existing clients through continuous reviews and identification of client needs.
• To attend client meetings and visits i.e. Annual General Meetings (AGM) and Board of Trustees. Meetings (BOT) and new business meeting/presentations as delegated by Line Manager.
• Provide service to customers with regard to account information, questions and problems resolution with specialized units.
• Contract review and negotiation with current and potential clients in conjunction with stakeholder units.
• Research and knowledge gathering on global custody services opportunities for targeted sales.
• Source and prepare tenders for the RFP process of any potential business opportunity.
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following minimum requirements:
• A Bachelors’ degree from a recognized institution in a business or social sciences related field.
• 2 years’ experience in Banking with at least 2 years’ experience in sales, customer service, banking operations. Prior experience in a custody services related role is an added advantage.
• Demonstrable leadership skills and strong governance awareness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to network and develop internal and external business relationships.
• A proven track record in delivering results.
