AutoCAD Draftsman at Virtual HR

Principal Accountabilities:

• Designing plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software
• Designing components, flow diagrams from scratch and modify existing drawings
• Working on clients’ drawings with adherence to the laid down standards and guidelines
• Judging whether projects are workable by assessing materials, costs and time requirements
• Assessing the environmental impact and risks connected to projects
• Working with a variety of sources, both internal and external to develop innovative, cost effective, product designs
• Working in liaison with engineering staff to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free
• Drafting and preparing layout drawings of the given structures, components and devices
• Producing draft designs and diagrams according to the given specifications
• Revising drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements

Qualifications, Experience, and knowledge:

• Diploma / Degree in either Engineering, Architecture, Design or any other related field
• At least three (3) years relevant work experience
• Proficient with AutoCAD .
•Able to use MapInfo software and Geo referenced maps .
•Experience in Telecom field and related drawings .
•Experience in Fibre optic networks especially FTTH
