Rider(Delivery) and Office Messenger at Alternate Doors

This role is divided into two equally important parts – that of the delivery driver, operating the company motorbike and that of the company messenger, riding the company motorcycle.

They operate an online based supplies shop, enabling its customers to order their products in bulk from the website and have them delivered anywhere in Nairobi at the click of a button.

When not out on deliveries, the company messenger makes the lives of his colleagues easier by running errands.

Requirements for the Rider & Office Messenger Job

• A love of animals. There will likely be dogs and cats, as well as other animals, on the delivery premises and the delivery driver must be able to interact with these animals well. Part of the interview will include interaction with animals.
• Must speak good English.
• Be polite. We expect that any representative of the company be polite at all times, when interacting with fellow members of company personnel and when interacting with clients. We also expect the same behavior from our clients to our personnel.
• Trustworthy. , the delivery driver is often required to assist in carrying the packages into the home of the customer. This requires a level of respect and professionalism from our delivery driver.
• Honest. Some documents may be of a delicate or sensitive nature, or the messenger may be entrusted with small amounts of cash for small purchases. The messenger should always return any change and acquire a receipt for any purchases made.
• Responsible. The messenger will be authorized to drive the company branded motorbike and office motorcycle. These must always be driven responsibly as they represent the company to the general public. Any vehicle on the road could be a potential customer, and therefore irresponsible or wreck less driving is not acceptable.
• These are of course company assets and must be driven with care to ensure minimal wear and tear
