Responsibilities for the HR Assistant Job

• To be deployed in specialized areas like salaries, pensions and compliment control sections and will handle complex clerical tasks of an analytical nature.
• Assist in implementing certain decisions within the existing rules, regulations and procedures.
• To supervise human resource management assistants, clerical officers and other staff below.

Requirements for the HR Assistant Job

• For appointment to this grade an officer must have:
• Served in the grade of human resource management assistant III for at least three (3) years.
• Part I of the Certified Public Secretaries (K) examination or its accepted equivalent.
• A certificate course in management, records management, pensions, salaries or compliment control.
  OR
• Diploma in Human Resource management or records management.
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
