Maintenance Assistance - Grounds at South Eastern Kenya University

Duties for the Maintenance Assistance Job

• Ensure cleaners have all the materials they require to use in their daily tasks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;
• Report any repairs to the Maintenance Department when they occur for corrective action to be taken;
• Ensure cleanliness in the University by coordinating grounds maintenance tasks to enhance a conducive environment for students and staff;
• Coordinate watering, trimming and weeding of flowers in the institution to ensure a tidy environment is maintained in the University.

Maintenance Assistance Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Environment Management or an equivalent qualification.
• Ordinary Diploma in Environment Management with a minimum of six (6) years working experience three of which must have been at Grade AB.
• Must have experience in the supervision of environment projects such as landscaping, enviroment conservation, etc.
