    ICT Manager

    Job Description

    Applications are hereby invited for the mentioned position in the society. The person will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

    Main duties and responsibilities

    Overseeing the development, Implementation and management of computerized Information systems including:

    Research and Development

    • Gathering information from the market and members by conducting online market surveys
    • Gathering Information from the members by conducting customer satisfaction surveys
    • Use e-channels including the website as feedback portals, complete with blogs to capture members' views and encourage member interaction
    • Gather information In Sacco sector and financial market trends.

    Resource Mobilization

    • Instrumental in mobilizing e-based resources for the growth of the Society
    • Ensuring a live interactive website and using it to: a) Run promotional campaigns for member recruitment, deposit mobilization, Interest capitalization. b) Sell Sacco merchandise to increase non-funded Income.

    Marketing the Society by using the e-channels to:

    • Advertise Sacco products
    • Enhance customer satisfaction by providing online help and feedback mechanisms
    • Disseminate information in the form of an online newsletter
    • Increase members' Interaction with own accounts Including statement viewing and printing, loan application, member registration, money transfer, loan calculator, loan repayment etc.
    • Any other lawful duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Appointment to the position will be made from persons who have:

    1. Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or its equivalent from a recognized university and 5 years relevant experience a) Or satisfactorily served in the grade of ICT assistant or equivalent b) Or a comparable position with similar responsibilities in like organizations for at least 3 years:
    2. Professional qualification in ICT (MSCE or MSCD or DBA)
    3. Experience in ICT Project Management will be an added advantage
    4. Wide experience and a high level of competence in computerized information systems.
