Roles for the Pipe Fitter Job

• Should be able to read individual service drawings as well as coordination drawing.
• Should be able to understand the type of pipes,sprinkler& accessories and its type of joints.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading. Installation of sprinkler system,fire pump and fire suppression.
• Select pipe sizes and types and related materials, such as supports, and hanger etc. as per shop drawings.
• Cut and bore holes in pipes for groove fittings etc using hand and power tools

Pipe Fitter Job Qualifications

• 2 year course in ITI as pipe fitter
• Minimum Experience 5 years
• Civil defense technician approval
• Knowledge of UAE fire code
