    Director of Enforcement

    The Director of Enforcement will be responsible to the Chief Officer – Administration and Public Service Department for effective administration and management of the
    Directorate.

    Qualifications for the Director of Enforcement Job

    • Be a Kenyan citizen.
    • Bachelor degree from a recognized university in any of the following:
    • criminology, security, forensics or related discipline.
    • Knowledge of constitutional provision related to law enforcement, the County Government Act and other relevant laws of devolved government functions.
    • Have at least ten (10) years experience in security or law enforcement service, five (5) of which must have been in a senior management position within a large organization;
    • registered as a Prosecutor with the Attorney General’s Office.
    • Have practical experience in prosecution in period of not less than 2 years.
    • Training with the National Defence College (NDC) or any other security related course.

    Director of Enforcement Job Responsibilities

    • Command and control of the Enforcement Division in the County.
    • Formulate guidelines and implement strategies for effective enforcement of county laws.
    • Establish systems for effective collaboration with government security agencies, the judiciary, communities and other stakeholders for effective enforcement of county laws.
    • Adopt modern technologies and innovation to improve the effectiveness of enforcement and compliance.
