Technical Sales & Support Engineering at Avcon Contractors

Avcon is looking to recruit a technical Sales & Support staff to join their team and support with project implementation and technical sales support (client engagement & preparation of technical bids) for our power solutions – generators and solar power solutions. He/she will be tasked with:

Technical Sales & Support Job Responsibilities

• Implementation of projects under his scope of work – solar power solutions and generators
• Client technical support and training
• Sourcing and peaching to prospective clients our solar power solutions and generators
• Support with preparation of technical bids for solar power solutions and generators
• Supporting our environmental, health and safety initiatives

Qualifications for the Technical Sales & Support

• Degree or Diploma in electrical / mechanical engineering with any additional certifications / trainings on solar power solutions and generators
• Registration with ERC will be a plus; candidate with not registered to consider registering
• Good command of MS applications (excel and word) and relevant design software (CAD) will be a plus
• Prior experience in implementation of solar power solutions and generator set-up, repairs ad and servicing
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, good communication skills and team work
