Trade Development Officer at Tharaka Nithi County Assembly

Responsibilities

• Facilitating trade promotion activities within and outside the County
• Undertaking market survey, profiling and market intelligence surveys for intra – county and inter-county trade development and partnerships
• Providing consultancy and extension services on trade issues
• Participating in the initial drafting of county trade development policies
• Assisting in drafting of trade agreements
• Responding to public complaints or customer care issues related to trade in the county
• Monitoring and analyzing trade practices within and outside the county

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, International Trade/ Business relations or an equivalent from a recognized institution
