    Human Resources Manager

    Job description

    This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Kenya's fastest growing fashion brands.

    The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programmes, and practices.

    Responsibilities:

    • Developing, implementing and reviewing Human Resources & Administration policies and strategies.
    • Recruit and Onboard new hires
    • Conduct performance management and provide feedback
    • Manage Payroll and benefits for employees
    • Develop a succession plan programme
    • Manage the medical scheme in liaison with insurer
    • Manage staff attendance & leave management
    • Formulate staff development plan
    • Handle grievances and conflicts at the workplace
    • Advice management accordingly on matters relating to the labor laws/ new regulations

    Qualifications / Required Skills and Personal Attributes

    • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
    • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
    • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
    • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
    • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
    • Attention to detail and good judgement
    • Sounds knowledge of Labor Laws and employment, Act 2007
    • Must be an active member of a relevant professional body with confirmed good standing record.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Integrity
    • Team player
    • Leadership
    • Sound knowledge of relevant company regulations and policies.
