    Presales Engineer - Up to $80,000 - Global Service Provider

    Job description

    Salary – Up to 80K USD per annum including 25% Variable.

    Summary

    expand have partnered with a leading Global Service Provider to search and select an exceptional Presales Engineer based in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design of technical solutions related to network managed services, tools and transformation for Telco customers in East Africa with the objective of increasing revenue, profitability and market competitive.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with the sales team to jointly assess customer pain points and ensure solutions provided meet customer requirements.
    • Responsible for understanding the technology requirements of the market
    • Participate in solution development activities, speak in customer / marketing forums to increase brand awareness and propagate portfolio and gain mindshare and market share.
    • Lead all RFx and proactive bids to the customers & work across all cross functional teams - sales, solutions, practice, bid management, commercials and finance to create integrated proposals & submit on time quality winning proposals.

    Requirements

    • You must hold strong domain expertise on fixed and wireless networks ( 3G & 4G).
    • You will have experience with a Managed Service Partner or have worked within a Telco managing OEM’s for network operations and services.
    • You have a good understanding of Cloud services, IoT, Virtualisation (SDN/NFV), Analytics and Automation.
