IS Security Administrator at Alternate Doors

Our client is an ICT company currently seeking to hire a IS Security Administrator

Responsibilities

• Daily administration and operation of information security systems including firewalls, endpoint security systems, data loss prevention, vulnerability assessment tools, SIEM and other audit logs analysis systems
• Access requests fulfilment after authorization
• Troubleshoot and resolve information security incidents
• Daily information security logs review, analysis and reporting
• Performing information security equipment maintenance in liaison with vendors
• Researching, testing and deployment of information security solutions and providing recommendations to the IS Security Manager
• Support information security incidents investigations and forensic analysis
• Conduct weekly vulnerability assessment on operating systems, databases and network.
• Generate weekly information security trending and metrics reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or ICT related field.
• Training in CISCO, Checkpoint or other network or security systems
• Knowledge of IT security products and techniques, network infrastructure, applications, and equipment pertinent to a large, distributed, heterogeneous computing environment.
• Certifications in information security such as CISA, CISSP or CEH will be an added advantage
• 1 or more years’ experience in information security, systems administration or systems audit
• Technical background in vulnerability assessment, application / database security, network security and web-related protocols
• Knowledge of IT security products and techniques, network infrastructure, applications, and equipment pertinent to a large, distributed, heterogeneous computing environment.
