Job Summary

The job holder is responsible for managing all technical communications between LITEs and Its Customers including installation, management and monitoring of applications, system failures and answering all technical enquiries from customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Be familiar with Commercial, Industrial, Domestic, Solar Water Heating and Water pumping Solar PV Installations in terms of supervision, Installation and the required Electrical Standards, Drawings/Schematics
• Be familiar with Energy efficiency in the Industrial and Commercial context
• Carry out feasibility studies in regard to technical and basic financial aspects for Energy Efficiency and Solar PV proposals
• Design systems with AutoCAD or similar Software for Electrical and Mechanical Design work and specialized for Solar PV design
• Design, size and commission solar PV systems for Commercial, Industrial and Domestic purposes
• Be proficient with MS office especially Excel and Word
• Be familiar with project management techniques
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Have basic business development skills

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering from a reputable institution OR equivalent and have registration with EBK.
• At least two years of related working experience in solar PV or related field in a reputable organisation
• Technical experience in electrical engineering is an added advantage
• Field experience is mandatory and familiarity with other renewable energy technologies is key.
• Previous experience in Renewable energy business and related sales experience is an added advantage such as Solar Water Heating Systems among others.
