Career Opportunity at Crown Marble (A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Crown Paints Kenya Plc) An exciting career opportunity has arisen in our subsidiary Crown Marble and now seek to recruit a strategic, committed & results driven person.

Reporting To: General Manager

Job Responsibility:

• Responsible for the efficient coordination and output of production, quality control, maintenance of stone work done at the factory
• Material reconciliation, check and off-loading of the imported stones in an efficient manner
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize factory productivity and standards
• Liaise closely with all departments (installation, dispatch, sales, operations) to ensure collaboration between them and make sure final output is correct.
• Material dispatch reports and delivery coordination with drivers, off loaders etc Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
• Making weekly and on-going inventory. Categorizing stocks as non-moving, slow moving for offers and schemes.
• Plan production activities, production meetings, machine maintaining schedules, worker schedules and budget maintenance schedules and quality of products
• Communicate with overseas suppliers if required to ensure that all import orders are on track and on time.
• Coordinate with the clearing agent, transport coordinator to make sure container material stocking and offloading is planned.
• Plan, schedule, and review workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis
• Communicate any changes in the order or delivery date to relevant parties.
• Also, follow up on interruptions to the order
• Provide guidance to employees & ensure induction and training of new employees
• Track and measure staff performance and output

Successful Applicant:

• Experience in Manufacturing, preferably in Natural Stone Industry.
• Experience in Plant Management Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). Knowledge of quick books is an advantage. High attention to detail and precision are required
• Ability to multi-task and focus under pressure.
