Job summary:

To provide practical guide in development of strategies in support of various Tax programs and monitoring of implementation strategies put in place by revenue departments.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide practical guide in development of strategies in support of various Tax Programs.
• Monitoring and Evaluation of implementation of the policies and strategies put in place by revenue departments for revenue enhancement.
• Prepare monthly performance reports on implementation of various strategies monitored under the Unit.
• Provide necessary technical support and guide to external stakeholders on areas of tax policy and taxpayer compliance support programs.
• Provide necessary technical support and guide to external stakeholders on areas of tax policy and taxpayer compliance support programs.
• Provide necessary support to other divisions within the department on measures put in place to support revenue mobilization strategies.
• Attend to any other assignment related to these duties.

Academic and Professional qualifications

University Degree, Upper 2nd Class Hons, in a relevant field; Statistics, Economics, Strategic Management or Finance.

Relevant work experience required

• At least 3 years of experience in relevant technical field.
• Must have working experience in middle level position.

• Ability to work odd hours and under pressure.
