    Procurement Intern

    Vacancy Number HRTK/PI/5/2018

    Job Summary

    Main Duties & Responsibilities

    • Naivas account management (active payment and reconciliation follow ups, request for payments)
    • Assist in procurement logistics
    • Compilation of procurement documents
    • Requisition and follow up for procurement payments
    • Raise LPOs
    • Payment follow up
    • Mobilizing procurement committee
    • Assist in procurement documents vouching
    • Any other tasks assigned as may be assigned from time to time.

    Job Specifications

    • Minimum of B.A/B.Sc Degree in Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any Social sciences.
    • Higher National Diploma in purchasing & supplies management is an added advantage.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to identify potential problems before they occur.
    • Proactive in preparation and uses initiative in response.
    • Ability to manage day to day interactions with contracted external service providers and analyze their performance.
    • Demonstrated capacity for self-organization.
    • Experience in administrative duties and data entry.
    • Computer literate in MS Office Suite and ability to particularly work with spreadsheet.
    • Able to work under fast pace environment and work overtime when required.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
    • Ability to work with diverse population
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
