NRC advocates for the rights of displaced populations and offers assistance within the shelter, education, emergency food security, legal assistance, and water,sanitation and hygiene sectors. The Norwegian Refugee Council has approximately 5000 committed and competent employees involved in projects across four continents. In addition, NRC runs one of the world’s largest standby rosters -NORCAP, with 650 professionals, ready to be deployed on 72 hours notice when a crisis occurs
Building Resilient Communities in Somalia (BRCiS) is a Consortium of national and international organizations whose objective is to support and guide vulnerable communities in Somalia in building their resilience capacities, in their own ways. The Consortium was created in 2013 and is now implementing projects funded by three different donors, in more than ten regions of Somalia.
NRC, the lead agency of the Consortium, is looking for a Project Manager to join the team as a member of the Consortium Management Unit (CMU). The position will be based in Nairobi, with 40% travel to Somalia.
