    Branch Manager

    Reporting to the Operations Manager and will be generally responsible for coordinating day to day branch operations and business growth at the branch.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Ensure Branch profitability through growth of loans and commissions
    • Aggressive marketing to ensure growth of the Branch membership
    • Prepare Branch Management Reports as per the stipulated timelines
    • Management of  risks- ensure internal controls, physical security of cash &Sacco Property  and ensure overall  adherence to the laid down policies at the his/her Branch
    • Implementation of the staff targets and ensuring that the Branch targets are met
    • Staff Management- maintain staff discipline, supervision, training, coaching and development
    • Ensure that all required branch reconciliations are done accurately and in a timely manner
    • Advise the CEO in matters of the Branch and his/her region
    • Ensure Good Customer Service  at the branch at all times to ensure member satisfaction and  retention
    • Assist the marketing team to identifying and forwarding customer need to aid in developing attractive products & Services
    • Enhancing Loan recoveries to ensure low Branch PAR
    • Controls the utilization of, and ensuring proper maintenance and custody of all society assets at the branch.
    • In liaison with operations/ finance department, ensure adequate branch liquidity and that there is enough cash at all paying points

    Qualifications

    • A diploma in Co-operative Management
    • Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in Business related course or an equivalent from a recognized University will be an added advantage
    •  Certified Public Accountant- CPA  II/ CCP
    • Have at least 2 years practical experience in a busy financial institution, such as a Unit/Credit/Branch Manager.
    • Computer literate

    • Should have exceptional organizational abilities and time management skills
    • Should have high level of integrity
    • Demonstrates team work and problem solving ability
    • Excellent communication skills; both written and verba
