Management of Clinical Services in a Hospital or Health Center;
Seeing and examining patients and diagnosing and treating ailments;
Conducting primary health care activities;
Teaching, supervising and counselling students attached to hospital or health center;
Liaising with division heads on health services; and
Be deployed in specialized clinics.
Job Qualifications
Served for at least three (3) years in the grade of Clinical Officer II, Job Group ‘J’;
Be in possession of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean Grade C with at least a C in Biology, English or Kiswahili and a C- in any other two (2) science subjects;
Have successfully completed at least 3 years pre-service training at Kenya Medical Training College or any other recognized Medical Training Institution and have been awarded a Diploma in Clinical Medicine or its equivalent; and
Have been registered by the Clinical Officers Council and with a current practicing license.
A Higher Diploma in Health related services. Anesthesia, ENT, Pediatric, Ophthalmology.
Demonstrated competence and ability in organizing, performing and discharging clinical duties at that level;
