Strategy & Planning Officer at Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service

Reporting to the Manager, Research and Knowledge Management, the job holder shall be required to assist in the management of the institution’s strategy, planning and performance contracting – monitoring, evaluation and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in collating data relating to implementation of the Placement Service Strategic Plan;
• Assist in undertaking economic reviews of the Placement Service programmes, projects and activities;
• Assist in the preparation of annual work plans for the Placement Service and alignment of the plans with the budget;
• Assist in undertaking economic analysis of investments, programmes and projects;
• Monitoring the implementation of the Placement Services plans and performance contract;
• Assist in the preparation of annual work programmes and budgets for Placement Service planning and development activities; and
• Undertake any such additional duties that are reasonably commensurate with the level of this post.

Qualifications

• Have five (5) years experience in relevant work in the Public Service or Private Sector;
• Have attained a minimum of Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics Computer Science; Business Studies; Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation or any other equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
• Be a member of a relevant professional body / institution;
• Be proficient in computer applications;
• Applicants with training in Monitoring and Evaluation will have an added advantage;
• Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
