Reporting to the Director, Scheduled Sciences, the Chief Analyst will undertake the following

Responsibilities

• Develop draft policy briefs for advisory and priority setting within Infrastructure,
• Implement programmes for the promotion and awareness creation on the research system within
• Infrastructure, Information and Communication Sciences;
• Propose priority programmes for the development of Infrastructure, Information and
• Provide input into the review of applications for registration of research institutions and licensing of research
• projects in Infrastructure, Information and Communication Sciences;
• Provide secretariat to the Infrastructure, Information and Communication Sciences
• Prepare position papers in Infrastructure, Information and Communication Sciences;

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in any Engineering field, Computer Science, Architectural Sciences and Construction Management, or equivalent from a recognized university;
• Masters degree in any Engineering field, specified in (i) above or equivalent from a recognized university;
• At least ten (10) years relevant work experience in a public or private institution
• At least three (3) years’ experience in management
• Demonstrated results in work performance
• Membership to a relevant professional body where applicable
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and
