    VP, Cloud Computing

    SUMMARY OF POSITION

    Vice President of Cloud Computing is responsible for leading the strategy, execution and management of DDD’s Cloud Solutions. This position will be responsible for a P&L associated with the management and growth of existing customers, and acquisition & development of new customers. Ideal candidate will be someone who has a deep understanding of the software and cloud industry, a proven record of executing large, complex IT projects while building out a high performance team and organizational culture.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
    • Build and lead a high-performance cloud solutions sales team focused on emerging Cloud technologies including AWS, Cloud Application Modernization, DevOps, AI & Data science.
    • Sell directly and close deals with top 100 Sub Saharan companies for cloud training services, and cloud migration and managed services.
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets established by the Management and execute on business development and strategy.
    • Develop and manage the overall sales strategies and related cadence and processes.
    • Develop and manage metrics/success criteria for all personnel, programs and activities.
    • Participate actively in the solutions and product definition and development process.
    • Work with the executive team to identify and develop strategic alliances, and closely support major customers.
    • Represent the company at customer, partner, and industry events.
    • Consistently coach and develop team members.
    • Develop highly engaged resources with a high level of business acumen that enhance the customer experience, demonstrate accountability, and achieve results.

    REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • BS degree is required. MBA or Master’s Degree is strongly preferred.
    • 15+ years experience in creating and delivering software solutions across financial services, transportation, telecommunication and infrastructure industries.
    • 10+ years required of technology industry experience, preferably with solution sales experience selling to large organizations to all levels of decision makers and influencers from technical contacts to C-level executives and senior management in mid-sized enterprises.
    • Proven commercial experience in a new business sales environment, incorporating value/solutions service selling ideally within the IT Infrastructure / Technology sector.
    • Ideally with experience in AWS and Azure Clouds.
    • Experience in driving effective Go to Market Strategies in the technology market.
    • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, influencing and written/verbal communication skills.
