Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and CPA Part III
• 12  years working  experience  3  of  which  as  Senior  Accountant Scale13  or  its equivalent
• Registered by a recognized professional body in addition to having competence in Accounting software.

Responsibilities

Reporting to Finance officer, successful applicants will among others;

• Be expected to supervise all financial and administrative operations in student finance section including management of cash/revenue /creditors and payables;
• Production of timely revenue and expenditure reports, offering mentorship and guidance to staff;
• Participating in preparation of annual financial statement/reports;
• External audit facilitation;
• Tax and other statutory compliance;
• Championing risk management;
• Carrying out internal control reviews and Supervision of all Income Generation Unit revenue activities among other.

Terms of Service

Appointment to the positions will be on contract terms or permanent and pensionable terms subject to successful completion of probation.
