The Web Project Manager will manage quality website design and development projects to deliver the product on time and on budget including our corporate web site. As a Web Project, you will lead a team of interdisciplinary staff in the development of websites, web-based applications and systems, mobile apps, and other technology-focused projects. In this role, you will manage all aspects of the website product life cycle to ensure that work is performed within the scope of the contract and in compliance with contract documents. This role is for someone who has an aptitude for developing and maintaining project plans, monitoring the quality and timeliness of all deliverables, assigning staff resources, and ensuring adherence to project budgets. If complex or unusual technical problems arise, you will actively use your knowledge of business best practices to guide the team.

Responsibilities:

• Web Development Project Lead. Responsible for the overall success of the web project and the soundness of the final product.
• Manage timelines and budgets for multiple projects and clients to deliver projects that are on-budget, on-time, and within scope
• Evaluate our current project bottlenecks and create solutions to test; look for opportunities at each stage of a project to decrease time to completion
• Contribute to all, website planning exercises by producing a sitemap, wireframes, content worksheets, etc. Experience with UX Design is a plus.
• Work with both internal and external developers to build great websites
• Be the primary trusted point of contact for several clients and maintain that trust by being consistent in your client service
• Maintain exceptional task management skills, time management skills, budget oversight, and project management skills
• Communicate with clients proactively and work with any team members to manage client expectations and solve marketing technology problems
• Anticipate problems. Solve them proactively with creative solutions by taking swift action
• Commit to staying on top of best practices for web development and web development project management
• Educate yourself fully on Marketing Automation, CRM, Email Marketing and Social Media platforms so that your websites are designed with them (and best practices) in mind
• Stay on top of emerging trends in Website Planning, Digital Marketing in general (tools, processes), Marketing Automation (workflows, list management, content publishing strategies, social media monitoring, etc.)

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience, including at least 2 years of project management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience concepting Web projects from inception to launch. (creation and development of project deliverables including project strategy briefs, site maps, wireframes, functional requirements)
• The ability to lead project teams, serving as the internal manager as well as the primary point of contact with clients.
• A broad understanding of the Web and knowledge, including CMS, community sites, eCommerce, responsive design, and Internet marketing
• Experience managing complex CMS projects
• Experience working with Agile methodologies preferred (Scrum, KanBan or other)
• Strong analytical, prioritization, communication and negotiating skills are a must
• High attention to detail and experience defining dependable and scalable processes
• A thirst for advancing one’s own professional skills and then applying their expertise to solve technical problems.
