    Resourcing Analyst, Kenya

    Job Description

    The opportunity: 

    As Resourcing Analyst, you will be working within the SSA Regional Resourcing Team, this role will actively contribute to the provision of professional recruitment services ensuring the right people are in the right posts at the right time. This role will provide strong, accurate and proactive administrative support, ensuring an efficient end to end recruitment process is delivered to our internal and external stakeholders.  The post holder will ensure integrity and accuracy of HR data while being compliant with British Council data protection and security standards to provide accurate and relevant data analytics and reporting.

    The main areas of focus for the role are but are not limited to: 

    Data management, record keeping & legal compliance:

    • Coordinate, collect, maintain and file regional HR data/records. Ensure they are safely stored and up to date with global and regional changes. Periodically conduct document audits in SSA countries to ensure compliance. Collecting and maintaining Regional HR Data. Data include Performance management metrics, Staff Survey, Staff turnover, Exit interviews, Role Profiles, All staff, regional & UK staff records, Recruitment.
    • Prepare and provide analytics and analyses on key HR metrics to HR Team, management and relevant stakeholders

    Resourcing Service delivery:

    • Partner with internal clients to understand specific resourcing requirements which inform approach and recruitment plan. Working within agreed SLAs in line with the Fit-for-Purpose Resourcing solution, relationships within the recruitment cycle are managed to ensure positive experiences and beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders. This will include: 

                -  Creating consistently good adverts that reflect the content of the role whilst accurately representing the British Council’s employer brand and adhering to the organisation’s Diversity commitments

                -  Managing activity for all roles through the applicant tracking system (ATS), advising and participating in selection activities

               -  Maintaining current knowledge of internal and external recruitment practices in terms of trends, technological developments, legislative changes, process change in order to contribute to innovations within the team.

    Candidate and Client (internal) Management:

    • Manage the implementation of Fit For Purpose Resourcing in Southern Africa Cluster, and support the rollout and implementation of same in Other Clusters.
    • Working closely with hiring managers within SSA to go through various stages of the process to ensure there’s a shared ownership of the results achieved

    Performance and Metrics:

    • Review weekly recruitment compliance metrics to improve regional performance, monitor trends and generate management information on all recruitment campaign activity. 
    • Proactively mainstream the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) principles through the entire recruitment life cycle including practice and candidate experience

    What we require of the successful candidate: 

    • Some previous knowledge of HR systems such as MyHR (SAP)
    • Data Analytics  
    • Degree in Human Resources/ related discipline or equivalent by experience (progressive years)
    • Understanding of relevant employment legislation in SSA countries and equal employment opportunity best practice
    • Engagement with varying levels and types of stakeholders and exposure to working with confidential information
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruiter role
    • Sound attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in information and reporting, clear messaging and consistent standard
