    Account Manager - Business Development

    Purpose for the Job

    The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business, growing the client portfolio, and retaining existing clients to drive revenue growth and support the company’s strategic objectives.

    Duties and Responsiblities

    • Develop and implement business growth strategies to drive revenue expansion.
    • Identify, target, and build relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Maintain a credible pipeline of prospective clients and implement growth strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
    • Articulate clear value propositions for different client segments and industries.
    • Create targeted sales and marketing plans to support business objectives.
    • Understand client needs and tailor solutions to address them effectively.
    • Contribute to product development and the creation of marketing collateral aligned with value propositions.
    • Support the development of diverse product distribution channels.
    • Develop and manage a calendar of marketing campaigns.
    • Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships to protect and grow the current book of business.
    • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly production reports.
    • Ensure timely collection of premiums for all businesses introduced.

    Professional and Academic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.
    • Diploma in Insurance (IIK / CII).
