Accountant at Achyutam

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a local Asian Kenyan professional with solid accounting experience and a strong understanding of financial processes and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely updates
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Assist with audits and financial reviews
• Manage invoicing, billing, and expense tracking
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements

• Local Asian Kenyan
• Experience- Minimum 5 Years
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Good understanding of Kenyan tax laws and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage
• Experience working in a similar industry or corporate environment
