Position Overview

• Our client, a reputable hotel in Maua, Meru County, is seeking to recruit a competent and detail-oriented Accountant to support its financial operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements within the hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, including monthly and periodic statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
• Monitor cash flow and daily revenue collections.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and tax obligations.
• Support budget preparation and financial planning.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records.

Qualifications & Requirements

• CPA-K qualification (mandatory).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the hospitality industry or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
