Accountant at Verde Edge Consulting Ltd

Key objective/Purpose of the Job.

Manage all the Accounting and Financial transactions and functions of the company.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Bookkeeping, update ledgers and journal entries
• Post all transactions through ERP-Tally
• Bank posting and reconciliation of Mpesa on daily and monthly basis
• Petty Cash Management and preparation of Cashflow projections
• Supplier accounts update, reconciliations and payments
• Payroll and Statutory Management, remittance and filing of returns for NSSF, NHIF and PAYE NITA deductions etc
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including income statement and statement
• of financial position
• Provide financial advisory to management
• Facilitate Value Added/Withholding Tax computation, timely returns submission and remittance
• Preparation of annual financial statements for tax filing purpose, statutory audit and tax filing by an independent auditor.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A CPA K professional and Graduate in the relevant field of study
• A clear understanding and demonstration of key accounting processes with a minimum of 4 years of working experience with ERP systems
• Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional, with personal ethical standards
• An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately with great self-drive
• Motivated, with a positive attitude and eager to learn continuously
• Must be committed to work, ready to take responsibility and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines
