Accounts Clerk at iHuman Resource Consulting Ltd (iHR)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

 Our Client an SME in the Service Industry is recruiting for the position of Accounts Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks the holder shall be based in Industrial Area in Nairobi.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
2. Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
3. Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
4. Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
5. Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
6. Provide assistance and support to company personnel
7. Prepare and raise Eslips, PRNs etc for statutory payments
8. Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
9. Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
10. Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance or in related field.
2. Preferred skills:1 year Expirience as Accounts Clerk.
3. Excellent in QuickBooks.
4. Analytical Thinker and problem solver.
5. High level of Accuracy
