Admissions Counselor at Africa Digital Media Institute (ADMI)

ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR

We are currently recruiting qualified personnel to fill the position of Admissions Counselor. Under the supervision of the Head of Admissions, he/ she will identify, recruit, evaluate and provide initial admissions counseling to prospective students to ensure they enroll with the Institute.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who can operate at start-up speed and is not afraid to work hard, and with enthusiasm.

Scope of Work

1. Respond promptly to all online, phone and in-person queries concerning the Institute’s offerings as well as progress and status of applications.
2. Maintain updated and thorough knowledge of the Institute’s offerings and admissions policy, including assessment/ selection and entry criteria.
3. Maintain a meticulous database of prospective students in the CRM and Implement targeted calling/ e-mail campaigns to shape enrollment goals and finalize applications to achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets.
4. Periodically host prospective groups, families and individuals on and off-campus and Liaise with the Immigration Advisor to support international students.
5. Produce weekly or periodic admissions reports as required.

1. A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
2. Team player with demonstrated sales/customer service experience in a learning institution.
3. Demonstrated ability to self-manage, be held accountable and independently make decisions.
4. Effective and consistent communication, conflict resolution and consensus-building skills
5. Open to learning, dedicated to improving, committed to excellence.
