We are seeking an individual with strong leadership skills and management experience to lead the Africa Division of BirdLife International to deliver high quality services to enable the BirdLife Partnership to make a tangible contribution to protecting and restoring nature in the region. This person will be responsible for leading regional conservation work in line with the BirdLife strategy and programmes. They will facilitate fundraising for our common work and promote joint initiatives and represent BirdLife in the region.
Key requirements:
The Regional Director provides input into the global strategy, programmes and policies of BirdLife International, and as part of the Senior Management Team, is a member of the decision-making body of BirdLife’s Global Secretariat.
