    Application Engineer

    You will be responsible for:

    • Learning under direct supervision in well design and applications engineering modelling as assigned. 
    • Must be able to read, analyse well schematics, design Bottom Hole Assemblies, conduct Torque & Drag analysis, Hydraulics modelling analysis, well engineering broomstick modelling and perform basic well planning and anti Collision monitoring.
    • Performing all required responsibilities safely and as described in work instructions. Executes other related duties as assigned by the supervisors. 
    • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
    • Must complete all training and development programs required within Applications Engineer -1 Program and all local training and development programs.

    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Have a Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
    • Have general knowledge of basic engineering principles and good mechanical and electrical aptitude.
    • Be able to become proficient in running basic logging-while-drilling jobs/services.
    • Have the ability to work in a global matrix organization.
    • Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Have exceptional organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Have the ability to travel (potential for travel to rig sites, customer facilities, meetings, trainings, etc.).
    • Comfortable presenting in front of an audience of experienced peers
