QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirement for Appointment: -

• Diploma in Counseling or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities: -

• Carry out treatment of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders;
• Meet with clients to discuss their emotional, mental or lifestyle issues;
• Facilitate individual or/and group counseling sessions;
• Provide relevant information or resources specific to the client’s needs;
• Assist clients to set goals and adopt strategies to address their issues;
• Refer clients to other healthcare professionals where appropriate; and
• Keep appropriate records.
