Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

• Served for a cumulative period of eight (8) years relevant work experience, three (3) ofwhich should have been at the grade of Principal Administration Officer, or ininacomparable position;
• Bachelor degree in any of the following disciplines: – Public Administration, BusinessAdministration, Political Science/Government, Anthropology, Social Sciences orequivalent qualification from a recognised Institution.
• Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Public Administration, BusinessAdministration, Political Science/Government, Anthropology Social Sciences orequivalent qualification from a recognised Institution is an added advantage
• Senior management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks froma recognisedInstitution;
• Membership to a professional body where applicable;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and Shown merit, integrity and ability as reflectedin work performance and results.
