Assistant Director Fire at Nairobi County

Job Description

1. This position is responsible for directing and managing a comprehensive emergency management program to include all phases of mitigation preparedness for, response to, and recovery from major incidents occurring in the County
2. Act as a duty officer as part of 24 hour duty system, responding to disaster as they may arise

Job Qualifications

• Be a Kenyan Citizen Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years managerial experience
• Skills in analysis and problem solving
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prepare and present professional reports and program materials.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the National Incident Management System.
• Experience interacting with local, state and federal representatives of government
