Assistant Finance Manager- Internal Controls at Rafiki Microfinance Bank

We are seeking a qualified Assistant Finance Manager- Internal Controls to;

• Lead the coordination of internal and external audits, ensuring IFRS compliance and timely submission of all month -end bank returns.
• Oversee reconciliation processes for all bank and suspense accounts; substantiate trial balances and investigate data anomalies.
• Drive the bank's risk management programs, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and tracking corrective actions across all units.
• Execute cashflow forecasting and management while reporting on the performance of enterprise financial plans meetings.

Qualifications

• Business-related degree from a reputable university. Full CPA (K) certification.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Mastery of IFRS, regulatory requirements, and banking procedures.
• High-level oral and written skills for reporting and liaison.
• Proven ability to investigate data anomalies and resolve workflow issues.
• Innovative approach to best-practice improve- ments and risk mitigation.
