    Assistant Professor in Nursing

    Job Summary

    The Nursing Assistant Professor will be a crucial faculty member responsible for teaching, research, and clinical duties, with a primary focus on educating and mentoring nursing students, conducting research, and contributing to the field of nursing.

    Operational Responsibilities

    Teaching:
    The Nursing Assistant Professor will pivotal role in shaping the next generation of nurses, advancing nursing research, and improving patient care outcomes. This position combines academic responsibilities with clinical expertise to help students become proficient, compassionate, and well-rounded nursing professionals.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • PhD in Nursing.
    • Masters in Nursing in any of the nursing specialties
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
    • Experience in clinical nursing practice, including patient care and nursing procedures.
    • A strong commitment to teaching, research, and the nursing profession.
    • Effective communication and mentoring skills.
    • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and students effectively.
    • Fulfills Commission for University Education requirements for the position.
    • Demonstrable ability to engage in independent research, with an established record of scholarly publication.
    • Demonstrable success in the supervision of postgraduate students.
    • Have attracted research funds or development funds or educational resources.
