     Terms of Service: One Year Internship

    Duties and Responsibilities

    An Officer at this level will work under the guidance of Senior Officer. Duties and responsibilities entails:

    • Preparation of Cost estimates, bills of quantity, monthly valuations on sites, site remeasurement, and preparation of variations orders.

    Requirements for Appointment
    For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:

    • A Bachelor Degree in Building Economics /Quantity Surveying or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and
    • Been registered as Graduates Member of either the Architectural Association of Kenya or the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya.
