Auditor at Bollard Consulting Limited

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit assignments.
• Ensure all audits are completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
• Prepare and review tax computations and relevant appendices for the allowances claimed.
• Review post-audit journal entries to rectify the client’s financial statements.
• Plan and conduct external audits of various entities including operational and financial audits and disclose all matters arising to the managers, partners, and management.
• Record entity level controls and recommend changes in controls.
• Carry out fieldwork, guide and supervise the associates to ensure that audits are carried out in accordance with the plan.

Educational & Professional Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting / Finance
• CPA-K
• Post qualification minimum experience of 3 years in Audit/Bookkeeping/Tax
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong client relationship management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preference will be given to candidates within the ages of 28-40 years
