Bar Man at Stedmak Gardens and Recreational Centre

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Bar Man to join our team. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience working in a bar, with proven skills in preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high levels of cleanliness, and delivering exceptional service. This role demands strong drink knowledge, speed, accuracy, and the ability to engage positively with guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to set standards.
• Welcome guests, take drink orders, and provide professional bar service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform management when stock replenishment is needed.
• Operate the POS system accurately and handle cash/card transactions.
• Uphold hygiene and safety standards, including responsible alcohol service.
• Recommend and upsell premium drinks and bar promotions.
• Ensure correct use and regular cleaning of all bar tools and equipment.
• Manage customer complaints courteously and escalate when necessary.
• Collaborate with waitstaff and other departments for smooth service flow.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or Food & Beverage is an added advantage.
• Must have at least 1–2 years of verifiable experience working specifically in a bar.
• Strong knowledge of drink preparation, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and wines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
