    BD Manager Solutions Corporate, Kenya

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    1. Minimum 15 years of work experience of which minimum 7 years at Kenya based at Nairobi.
    2. Should be proficient in using Microsoft Office
    3. Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion and business development skills
    4. Bachelor or Masters’ degree from tier 1 college or strong practical experience. MBA is a plus
    5. Prior experience in Developing Proposals/ Solutions and Winning dedicated Training programs/ Contracts from Large/ Medium Corporates *
    6. Prior experience of creating end to end proposal, RFP, writing proposals against Tender and winning contracts of minimum 0.20 mn USD*

    Essential Attributes

    1. 8-12 years of experience in the field of Learning & Development
    2. Good Communication, Should be proficient in using Microsoft Office
    3. Presentation Skills, Dealing with complexity,
    4. Self-motivated, organized and high energy
    5. Strong problem-solving skills and creating workarounds 

    Desirable Attributes

    1. Bachelor or Master’s degree
    2. Excellent writing and communication skills
    3. Good organizational and time-management skill
    4. Excellent Presentation skills

    Target Industry/Sector

    Business Development in Training Industry *

    Key responsibilities:

    1. Facilitate and participate in the proposal walk-throughs with the client along with the team
    2. Attend to customer requests for information on RFIs and RFPs completion.
    3. Work with the Sales, Technical and Delivery/Operation team, Finance team and HR team to come up with a competitive proposal response.
    4. Identify SMEs for creating and delivery of Solution
    5. End-to-end ownership of the proposal response to the client.
    6. Drive collaboration across teams from different service lines and functions for proposal response
    7. Facilitate reviews with Leadership team with respect to solution, delivery and commercial commitments outlined in the proposal
    8. Proposal content ownership in the proposal and alignment to defined storyline
    9. Planning and management throughout the proposal process to ensure timely and high quality of the proposal response documents
    10. Work closely with sales team and their key existing accounts to create and shape strategic deals
    11. Work closely with Content team and operations team post award of contract to support translate solution design into actual solution
