Biomedical Technologist at Our Lady of Lourdes Mutomo Hospital - Kitui

Job Purpose

To maintain hospital machines and diagnostic equipment in good working condition to provide quality care to patients.

Duties and Responsibilities                                                                                                                

1. Prepare and review of equipment and machine service schedule and adhere to it.
2. Make regular checks for power points to maintain a safe environment.
3. Diagnose equipment malfunctions with accuracy and precision and do the necessary repairs.
4. Attend to work requests as assigned by the supervisor.
5. Maintain the water system in the hospital to avoid shortage and manage overflow.
6. Making sure all hospital equipment are in good working condition.
7. Actively participate in quality improvement in the hospital.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Diploma in Biomedical Engineering.
2. 3 years working experience
3. Computer literate.
4. Accuracy.
5. Effective communication skills.
