Business Analyst at Kenbright Holdings

Duties

• Preparation and negotiation of quotations for both tender and non-tender business.
• Analyzing quotes to suite client needs.
• Pitching presentations to potential clients and following up on business closure.
• Data analysis and interpretations.
• Provision of renewal reports within set TATs and ensuring 90% client retention.
• Provision of reports based on clients claims data.
• Identify new business opportunities for health, life and general insurance enhancing existing products.
• Ensuring continuous communication between underwriters and clients via email, telephone etc.
• Maintain underwriter relationships.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure efficiency in regard to customer needs.
• Interacting with the internal and external sales teams.
• Keeping clients informed on our existing and new products.
• Conducts “healing” clinics for clients who have had bad experiences with our services in the past.
• Perform any other duties as assigned and in line with the task.
• Preparation and negotiation of quotations for both tender and non-tender business.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
• 2+ years experience in insurance.
• Analytical, leadership, time management, problem solving and computer skills.
• Good knowledge of regional financial regulatory requirements, including the Kenya IRA requirements.
• Strong communication and written skills and proficiency in English.
• High motivation, team-orientation and adaptability.
