Business Analyst at Mobile Financial Solutions

Job Purpose

A Business Analyst will be responsible for discovering, synthesizing, and analysing information from a variety of sources within the business and external partners, including tools, processes, documentation, and stakeholders. The business analyst will be responsible for eliciting the actual needs of stakeholders—which frequently involves investigating and clarifying their expressed desires—in order to determine underlying issues and causes. Business analyst will play a key role in aligning the designed and delivered solutions with the needs of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and clearly articulate business needs from a varied group of stakeholders and identify project risks and mitigation plans.
•  Conduct workshops to gather requirements from stakeholders, analyse the requirements, provide strategic insights that drive better targeting to meet marketing and business objectives.
• Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
•  Able to plan the timeline for end-to-end project execution and assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
• Support UI/UX design of the system / app to be built and able to develop wireframes or mocks that can exhibit the user journeys. Assist in applying UX principles when designing the system / app.
•  Develop Functional Specifications and System Design specifications.
• Well-versed in designing process flow diagrams to support the business rules in the Functional Specifications.
•  Support or lead quality assurance testing by developing test plans and test strategies, as well as writing test scripts which are comprehensive and detailed to be picked up by other testers.
• Ensures issues / bugs are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Act as a trusted adviser to internal teams and clients. Effectively communicate business requirements and needed changes to the development team from time-to-time.
• Assist in the facilitation of team and client meetings, delivers informative and well-organized presentations, consistently delivers high-quality services and manages client expectations effectively.
• Consolidate and develop the content document that is the reference for all user input, output and copies shown in the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree: Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 1 – 2 years of working experience as Business Analyst.
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years Active Software Development Experience
• Capable of consulting with stakeholders.
