BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE:

Overall Responsibilities:

1. Proactively seek new commercial opportunities for the company including up-selling to existing clientele.
2. Promote and market the business services to potential clients to include proposal writing for tenders and presentations.
3. Implement alternative and innovative ideas for achieving new business.
4. Take a lead in sales and marketing for services offered.
5. Proactively keep up with industry trends to ensure the company’s competitive edge.
6. ·Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies, whilst ensuring flawless service delivery to the client.

Required Skills and Competencies:

1. Background education in sales and marketing management.
2. At least 2 – 3 years proved professional experience in a similar position within the tours industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of sales and customer service skills.
4. Excellent verbal, written communication and computer proficiency.
5. Excellent planning and organizational skills.
6. Independent decision maker with good interpersonal skills.
7. A flexible approach to work with a high degree of accuracy.
8. The ability to work well under pressure and efficiently cope with emergencies.
9. Multitasking and team work skills.
10. High quality presentation and report writing skills.
