Business Development Executive–Medical Department at Waumini Insurance Brokers Limited

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Responsible for selling and marketing of company products and services to prospective medical services clients.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities are as follows:I. Operational Roles and Responsibilities:

• Sale of Medical products to individuals & Corporate clients.
• Facilitate business quotation by liaising with underwriting department and ensure to submit the quotation on time to clients in good time to allow for feedback on our competitiveness.
• Identify potential partners within and outside the industry
• Establish cordial relationship with clients.
• Maintain and update data bank of clients
• Prepare sales reports on weekly, monthly or as directed
• Prepare a weekly work plan for approval and ensure adherence to the same.
• Ensure that premiums are collected on time.
• Gather market intelligence from the competition and feedback such information to the Head of Medical

 Knowledge and Skills Required:
The jobholder must possess:

• A minimum of Higher Diploma in marketing or a business field
• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience;
• Must demonstrate good analytical skills;
• Must demonstrate a good understanding of insurance sector and the medical services business;
